Several years go, during a Canyon County Parade of Homes, we stepped into a home built by Robert Myers Construction and immediately said “If we ever build a home we want this guy to build it”. Our first impression of the quality of that home stuck in our mind for years. In 2004 we had the opportunity to build our own home and contacted Butch to talk. From the initial conversation to the final move in day we were confident we had made the right choice for a builder. Butch is truly the “Real Deal”. He and his outstanding sub contractors are honest, dependable and true craftsman.  Their attention to detail and quality are always top priority. Butch is unrelenting in his mission to give you exactly what you want. He was always available and was at the job site regularly with suggestions and ideas.

The end result is a home that we are extremely proud of. Every guest who has toured our home has commented on the first class work done inside and outside of our home. In addition to building our dream home Butch has become a friend. We would readily recommend him as a builder to anyone interested in building a home.

During our research of deciding on a homebuilder, we found Butch’s reputation for building quality homes in the community first rate!  After looking at various homes he built, we found not only the homeowner extremely satisfied but other area builders spoke highly of Butch as well.  His easygoing personality made our first homebuilding experience very enjoyable.  His attention to detail of the finished product far exceeded even our high expectations.  Any questions or concerns we had were easily put to rest for the mere fact that Butch was on site almost daily.  We cannot emphasize enough the professionalism and expertise that Butch brought to the construction of our home.  If we were to build another home in the future, we would not hesitate one second to have Butch build for us again.  We not only ended up with a beautiful home, we gained a friend in our builder.

We were so blessed the day we met Robert “Butch” Myers at a Parade Home Show in Nampa.  We had spent a significant amount of time and energy trying to find someone to build the home we had designed with Lars Hansen.  After two years and numerous interviews, we finally found the perfect match of a builder who could see the vision we had for our home and whom we could trust. 

Butch not only saw our vision but he took it to the next level.  For example, he added full stucco on the front of our house and stucco columns on the front and back porches.  On the interior, he added the Butch Myers signature of large crown moldings around the ceiling areas for accents, 4 inch moldings around the doors and windows, and beautiful arches with columns in the great room.  We could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

Not only did we benefit from Butch’s expertise, but his team of subcontractors is superb.  The designers at Innovative Interiors, Judy Harmon Stallcup and Janet Harmon Rodriguez, were a resource that proved invaluable to us in making our thoughts and ideas become reality.  They guided us with the ideas we already had, making the necessary suggestions to design a home with an interior where each component blended and complemented the other to create the “casual elegant” style of home we wanted.

The other subcontractors, including Ray’s Construction (framing),  Kelly Krommenhoek (finish work), Royce Tanner (painting), Gene Johnson (tile), and Phil Hyatt (cabinetry) just to name a few, all performed work of the highest quality and went out of their way to ensure that we were pleased with our new home.  Butch spent a significant amount of time on the job site and knew exactly what was happening with our home.  In addition, he has always been available for the inevitable questions that arise after the move-in date.
